James has 13-years experience in automotive and motorsport industry combined, formerly responsible for maintaining all electronics and car systems on a range of Mercedes AMG F1 Heritage cars driven by the likes Sir Lewis Hamilton MBE ranging from 2022-2013 and beyond. He has vast experience worked at McLaren Racing, Haas F1, McLaren GT & McLaren Automotive. He featured in the Hamilton Commission & interactive smart video as well as speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live about the state of diversity in F1 in 2021.

He supported several STEM outreach initiatives in his free time including providing a STEM - Engineering Talk followed by interactive session of designing a sustainable racing items for the future.
